Aaron Black, released last week from his contract at Glenavon by mutual consent, has marked his 23rd birthday by signing for his hometown club. Black, a target for Glentoran last season, had been approached by several clubs, but opted to commit himself to Larne until the end of the season. The son of Larne's first team coach Johneen, he previously played with Ayr United and W-Connection in Trinidad. Manager Paul Curran hopes to rebuild his bottom of the table squad.
