Michael Halliday was on target for Glentoran

Colin Nixon scored into an empty net from six yards out on 20 minutes after Davy O'Hare saved well from Jason Hill.

Darren Boyce's shot looped over Elliott Morris for a scrappy equaliser on 28 but Halliday tapped in from a Gary Hamilton assist on 30 minutes for 2-1.

Tommy McCallion had a good chance before Hill's shot trickled over the line on 79 and Stephen Carson fired a right foot shot past Morris after 90.

Willo McDonagh wasted a fine scoring opportunity in the first half as his effort was cleared off the line by Stuart Clanachan but the Bannsiders came into the game in the second half.
