Jim Hagan's Larne team are in 14th place in the league table |
Larne officials have insisted that manager Jim Hagan will be in charge of the Carnegie League team in Saturday's game against Cliftonville. Newspaper reports suggested Hagan was set to lose the job on Monday following Larne's struggling start to the season.
However a club source said Hagan would "definitely" be in charge of the team for Saturday's game.
Hagan's position will be reviewed after Saturday's game although the club appear keen to retain his services.
Larne are currently in 14th place in the 16-club Carnegie League having obtained only four points from their opening six games.
Hagan's outfit were also dumped out of the County Antrim Shield by junior outfit Wakehurst a fortnight ago.
The former Northern Ireland international started his second spell in charge of the club in May after Kenny Shiels stepped down from the role.
Hagan's assistant is former Cliftonville boss Marty Tabb.
