Ten-man Dungannon won a thrilling five goal encounter at Stangmore Park. Mark McAllister stabbed the ball home on the goal line after Gary Fitzpatrick headed the ball down after 27 minutes.
Richard Clarke equalised with a 20-yard effort on 69 but Paddy McLaughlin diverted the ball into his own net from a Niall McGinn cross after 72 minutes.
Clarke struck with a low 25-yard shot past Nelson on 76, Gary Fitzpatrick was sent-off on 80 and Ronnie Burns headed in JP Gallagher's free-kick after 81.
Early in the game Mark McAllister slid the ball under Robert Robinson but a defender cleared the ball off the line.
Andy Crawford twice went close for the visitors and Niall McGinn missed an easy chance for the Swifts.
After the break McArdle headed straight at Nelson before Dungannon went on to win.
