Gordon Patton scored two and Stephen Beatty the other as Coleraine claimed the points at Holm Park. Patton capitalised on a mix-up in the City defence to score the opener after just three minutes.
Conor Forker levelled for Armagh on 16 minutes to make it 1-1 but Stephen Beatty scored a fine free-kick to restore Coleraine's lead on 54 minutes.
Two minutes later Patton got a superb third from the edge of the box and then Armagh had Scott Walker sent-off.
Walker was dismissed late on for a second yelow card offence.
