 Rodney McAree struck Dungannon's winner from all of 30 yards |
Rodney McAree's first half free-kick earned Dungannon Swifts a 1-0 win over Coleraine in Friday's CIS Cup clash. Noel Anderson missed a 12th minute chance for Coleraine while Swifts goalkeeper Dwayne Nelson saved a Gordon Patton shot 10 minutes later.
McAree hit his winning goal from all of 30 yards in the 32nd minute.
Davy O'Hare kept Coleraine in the game by superbly saving from Michael Ward and David Scullion while Nelson denied Coleraine's Ciaran Ferry late on.
