CIS Cup holders Linfield look well set for the quarter-finals after a home success over Lisburn Distillery. Glenn Ferguson got the opener on seven minutes from a Peter Thompson cross but Distillery equalised two minutes later through Andrew Waterworth.
Ferguson restored Linfield's lead with a 30th-minute penalty after Tim Mouncey had been brought down by Phil Matthews.
Paul McAreavey pounced on a poor Whites clearance to make it 3-1 and Jim Ervin added a late fourth for the Blues.
Thompson?s pass put Ervin one-on-one with keeper Matthews and the Linfield defender scored from close-range.
Striker Ferguson and midfielder McAreavey have now scored three goals after just two CIS matches.
William Murphy and Chris Kingsberry were both injured and face a race to be fit for Linfield's game at home to Glenavon on 25 August.
