Mark Dickson will join Linfield at the start of the season |
Larne striker Mark Dickson has ended speculation about his future by agreeing terms with league champions Linfield, BBC Sport has learned. The 24-year-old will not be able to complete the move until his contract at Inver Park ends in August.
However, it is hoped Dickson will be released to allow him to join the Blues squad for pre-season training.
Linfield have been busy recruiting with Timmy Adamson and Mark McGinnis already signed before the Dickson deal.
Dickson scored 13 goals last season and played a key role in Larne's escape from relegation.
The former Northampton Town and Newry City forward is the third star player to leave the Co Antrim club this month.
Fellow striker Striker Gary McCutcheon turned down a new contract and rejoined Portadown while defender Kris Lindsay could also return to Shamrock Park.
