Paul Kirk's Lisburn Distillery lost 1-0 to Bangor in the Irish Cup |
Lisburn Distillery boss Paul Kirk has been named Harp manager of the month after going through February unbeaten. "It is reward for everyone at the club who has worked so hard," said Kirk.
"We have been on a good run but the aim is to maintain consistency and get a high finish in the league. We have the players capable of doing that."
Kirk, though, is poised to make changes after the Whites lost to First Division Bangor in the Irish Cup on Saturday.
Distillery had been hoping for a glamour day out in the cup semi-finals but the Seasiders pulled off a surprise 1-0 win at New Grosvenor.
"That performance was unacceptable and we got what we deserved," said Kirk.
"Players are playing for their futures at the club. Some are safe, some are not. They will be judged on results from now to the end of the season.
"It is so frustrating. We had been on a decent run since Christmas but against Bangor we just did not perform.
"The directors have worked hard in making the club more professionally organised and with financial support from Tommy Anderson we have been able to attract quality players.
"But we have to work on our consistency. We want to be like Dungannon. They did brilliantly to get fourth last season but they are up there in the same place this season.
"We got third for one season but could not sustain that.
"I do not want Lisburn Distillery to be a mediocre team."
