Glenavon 1-4 Newry City
James Willis scored for Newry
James Willis got Newry's first goal at Mourneview Park
Lee Feeney's double blast for Newry City helped them to a 4-1 win as Glenavon finished with 10 men.

Glenavon had taken the lead after just one minute through Marty Verner but James Willis hit a quick equaliser.

Feeney scored his first goal since joining Newry from Bangor on 12 minutes and added another in the first minute of the second half.

Glenavon's Conor Walsh was sent-off for two bookable offences before Newry's Richard Clarke completed the scoring.

Walsh saw red after a challenge on Kevin Keegan to heap on the misery for the Lurgan team.

They have still only won once at home in the league this season, that a 1-0 success over bottom club Ards back in October.

Newry, with Ollie Ralph in charge after manager Paul Millar's midweek departure to Glentoran, stay sixth in the table but are now just three points behind fifth-placed Ballymena.
