Shea Campbell played a part in Glenavon's first goal at Newry

Pat McAllister gave City a third minute lead by firing home at the far-post from Damien Curran's corner.

Shea Campbell set up Marty Verner for the leveller on 72 minutes before Newry's Paddy McLaughlin was sent-off after a clash with Campbell.

McAlinden slotted in the late winner during a scramble in the box.

The victory takes Glenavon up two places to sixth while Newry remain third from bottom on four points.
