Goalmouth action from Loughgall's 4-0 win at Glenavon |
Goals from Keith Percy, Johnny Topley, Alain Emerson and Johnny Black gave the visitors an impressive win on Saturday. Glenavon cleared off the line three times before Percy fired home a rebound after Alain Emerson's header had been saved by Andy McDonald on 31 minutes.
McDonald could only help the ball into his own net from Topley's corner on 62 minutes and Emerson netted the third for Loughgall five minutes later.
Johnny Black completed a resounding win with eight minutes remaining.
Jim Gardiner's side made their intentions clear from the beginning, just failing to convert several good chances.
Emerson's effort was cleared off the line by Scott Walker, Johnny Black's shot was blocked by Davy McAlinden and Barry Reid cleared from Johnny Guy.
Topley fired in the free-kick from which Percy's opener resulted and also delivered the corner which bamboozled McDonald.
Emerson's third came after Scott McCordick's effort had been palmed away.
