Tim McCann
Defender Tim McCann has opted to join Sligo Rovers
Defender Tim McCann has agreed a two-year deal with Eircom League First Division club Sligo Rovers.

McCann was released by Glentoran three weeks ago and turned down an approach by Lisburn Distillery in favour of full-time football south of the border.

The 25-year-old won two Irish League medals during his four years at the Oval.

He signed after Sligo's 4-1 win over Monaghan United and is set to make his debut against Athlone Town on Saturday.
