McCann is released by Glentoran | Glentoran defender Tim McCann will leave the Oval | Glentoran left-back Tim McCann is set to leave the Oval after being given permission to speak to other clubs. McCann was signed by Glens manager Roy Coyle in 2001 following a two-year apprenticeship with Leicester City. The defender follows Andy Kilmartin out the Oval exit door and is expected to attract interest from Portadown and Ballymena United. McCann's departure will fuel speculation that Larne defender Jeff Hughes will be recruited by the Glens.
