Newry City continued their recent good form by beating Dungannon on Monday. Andy Crawford scored the opener after half an hour when he latched onto a through ball, rounded Gavin Cushley and tapped the ball home.
Damien Whitehead extended the lead when he headed in a Damien Curran cross from six yards after 58 minutes.
Timmy Adamson scored for the Swifts on 75 minutes when he directed the ball home in a crowded penalty area.
Dungannon started the game brightly and David Scullion had a shot blocked on the line by Gerry Flynn, JP McLaughlin's free-kick drifted wide and Thomas Wray headed wide.
At the other end, Richard Clarke dragged a shot wide for Paul Millar's outfit.
After he scored the opener, Crawford also had a shot blocked by Wray.
