David Scullion was Dungannon's matchwinner at Stangmore |
Dungannon Swifts left it late to seal victory over 10-man Cliftonville with David Scullion scoring the only goal in stoppage-time at Stangmore Park. Scullion deftly lifted the ball over keeper Paul Rice after Michael Ward had fed the through pass.
Cliftonville were hanging on gamely after midfielder Sean Cleary had been sent-off just before half-time.
Cleary was shown a straight red card for an elbowing offence when going up for the ball with Shane McCabe.
The result moved Dungannon up to fourth place in the Carnegie Premier League.
