Cliftonville suffered their first league defeat in nine matches as Mark Magennis scored Limavady's winner at Solitude on Tuesday night. Magennis hit the winner on 63 minutes with a close-range effort from Martin Cutmore's cross.
In the first half Limavady had come closest when Niall Cooke saw his shot strike an upright.
Cliftonville's Mark Holland had a shot saved by keeper Michael Doherty's legs as Limavady held on for the win.
