Scott Young suffered a third leg break against Glenavon |
Glentoran's Shaun Holmes believes everyone involved in Irish League football would like to see leg break victim Scott Young return to the game. Young had just returned to senior football after two similar injuries when he broke a leg for the third time in the league game at Glenavon.
"Everybody in the dressing room feels for him and I think everyone in the game is pulling for him," said Holmes.
"I hope see him back in a green shirt at the Oval and I am sure we will."
Holmes was Glentoran matchwinner with the only goal of the league win over Loughgall on Friday night, extending the east Belfast team's brilliant home record.
Roy Coyle's champions have won 18 and drawn one from their last 19 on their own ground.
"We are on a fantastic run and, even though we have not been at our best recently, it shows we must be doing something right," said the former Wrexham midfielder.
"There is much more to come from us, it is a matter of things coming together."
