Scott Young is in despair after suffering his latest leg break |
Glentoran players believe that Scott Young has the will-power to make another comeback after suffering his third broken leg in two years. An Oval favourite, Scottish-born Young was making his first start for nearly a year when he suffered a double break in Saturday's 3-0 win over Glenavon.
"Everyone is devastated," said Glens skipper Colin Nixon.
"To have broken his leg twice and then recuperate to get back shows his character. He's a fighter."
Nixon said that the injury was a cruel blow to the popular playmaker.
"Scott is very down as you can imagine, but he has come through all of this before," Nixon told the Belfast Telegraph.
"He had every reason to feel good about himself because he had been through to so much in the past couple of years."
