Dermot Keely
Dermot Keely had a shosrt spell in charge of Derry City
Former Glentoran cult figure Dermot Keely is favourite to step into the vacant manager's job at Newry City.

Former Reds' boss Liam Beckett is also in the frame with Keely, who is presently in charge of Dublin City.

Raymond Byrne, the present caretaker boss of Newry, says he is stepping down, with Keely being tipped to be appointed in the very near future.

"That's me finished," Byrne told the Sunday Life. "I will now concentrate on my golf handicap."
