McConnell out for eight weeks
Cliftonville striker Nathan McConnell
Nathan McConnell will miss the remainder of the season
Cliftonville striker Nathan McConnell is out for the remainder of the season after breaking a bone in his foot.

McConnell was injured during Thursday's night's Daily Mirror Irish Premier League game at Institute where the Reds won 2-1.

The loss of the in-form McConnell will be a blow to manager Liam Beckett as he strives to further end a barren spell.

Conor Downey's winner at Drumahoe gave the Reds only their fourth point from their last seven games.
