Cliftonville secured their first win in seven Irish Premier League games by battling from a goal down to beat Institute at Drumahoe. Ryan Semple had given the North-West outfit a 19th minute advantage by shooting low from 20 yards.
The Reds levelled six minutes before the break when George McMullan's corner was pushed into the net by keeper Ciaran McLaughlin for an own goal.
Conor Downey's half-volley on 51 minutes was enough to earn victory.
Cliftonville had taken just one point from a possible 18 before this game, their last victory being the 5-0 success at Omagh on 22 January.
