Portadown finished the match with just nine men as they had to settle for a draw against Coleraine. Coleraine had led from the third minute when Paul Gaston headed in from a Stephen Beatty corner.
Darren Kelly nodded in the 63rd-minute equaliser after keeper Davy O'Hare had missed Keith O'Hara's long free-kick.
In stoppage-time Henry McStay was sent-off for upending goalbound Kyle McVey and then O'Hara was dismissed for a lunge at Darren Boyce.
The result ended Portadown's 100% record in the IPL and they are now two points behind leaders Glentoran.
