Parkhouse was injured in a CIS Cup game in early September |
Glentoran striker Stephen Parkhouse is close to regaining fitness after spending over two months out because of a broken ankle. He played a reserve game last week and will line for the seconds again in the George Wilson Cup semi-final against Linfield Swifts on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Chris Morgan is doubtful for Glentoran's league game against Newry Town on Saturday.
Morgan sustained a hamstring injury in the CIS Cup Final win over Linfield.
Meanwhile, Conor Larkin will make his first start of the season for Newry Town in Saturday's game against the Glens.
With on-loan goalkeeper Gavin Cullen recalled by Finn Harps, 18-year-old reserve custodian Andrew McFarland is likely to line out at the Newry Showgrounds.
Manager Roy McCreadie, angry after last week's 5-2 defeat by Loughgall, will also add Austin Friel and Collie Keenan to his squad.
