Cliftonville 0-1 Glentoran
Michael Halliday of Glentoran
Michael Halliday scored Glentoran's winner against Cliftonville
Glentoran regained third place in the Irish Premier League thanks to Michael Halliday's 75th minute winner against Cliftonville at Solitude.

Halliday raced through to produce a superb finish which made it three league wins in a row for the Glens.

Cliftonville have now lost three of their last four in the championship and will be unhappy with their display.

The Reds had a few half chances in the first period but lacked punch up front after the break.

Solitude is traditionally a tough venue for Glentoran and it was looking like they might have to settle for a draw until Halliday pounced.

Colin Nixon's long ball was flicked on by Damien McLaughlin and Halliday took it on to score superb goal, his 10th of the season.
