Crusaders 0-2 Ards
Ards player-manager Shane Reddish
Shane Reddish scored from a free-kick for Ards
Ards secured their second league win of the season with goals from player-manager Shane Reddish and Derek Delaney at Seaview.

Having lost their previous two games 3-0, Ards badly needed a good result.

Reddish scored the opener with a free-kick after eight minutes and Delaney headed number two on 57.

There was a double sending-off late on with Crusaders defender Davy Munster and Sean Cleary of Ards red-carded after a stoppage-time fracas.

The result leaves Crusaders with just one win from five so far in the Irish Premier League.

The opening goal was a disaster for their teenage goalkeeper Lee Windrum as he fumbled Reddish's free into the net.

But he made amends just before half-time by pulling off a superb stop from John Bailie's shot which deflected off Delaney.

Ards' second came when an Alun Rees cross set up Delaney for a close-range header.
