Derry remain one point off the bottom of the Eircom Premier Division after this dismal Dalymount Park defeat. The managerless Candystripes were under pressure from the start and goals from Bobby Ryan (19) and Glen Crowe (25) gave Bohs a 2-0 lead at half-time. Ryan completed his brace two minutes after the break as City caretaker boss Peter Hutton failed to inspire an upturn in Derry's fortune. The Brandywell outfit have now gone seven league games without scoring.
