|  Michael Halliday scored the winner in the 2001 Irish Cup Final |
Glentoran's Michael Halliday has been named as the Nationwide Irish Cup Personality of the Round after his semi-final hat-trick against Omagh. Halliday's award comes two days before Saturday's decider against Coleraine - which is a repeat of last year's final. The Glentoran man was selected for the award by Irish Cup sponsors Nationwide Building Society and the Northern Ireland Football Writers Association. He gets a specially commissioned silver salver from the Irish Cup sponsors.
