Cliftonville 0-1 Glentoran
Michael Halliday's injury-time winner earned Glentoran a 1-0 victory in Saturday's tempestuous CIS Cup clash at Solitude.
Tempers boiled over on numerous occasions during the 90 minutes - and after the final whistle when Cliftonville players Mickey Donnelly and James Quigley tangled with former Reds favourite Tim McCann.
Winger McCann was incensed after being barracked for the duration of the game by sections of the Cliftonville support.
The winger took revenge of his detractors by setting up substitute Halliday's 91st minute goal.
Cliftonville defender Liam Fleming felt the wrath of his team-mate Mickey Donnelly's tongue after the goal with the veteran making clear where he felt the blame lay.
The goal was a sickening blow for a battling Cliftonville outfit.
Glentoran looked the better side for most of the contest but the closest they came to scoring was Andy Smith's missed penalty in the 63rd minute.
James Quigley was adjudged to have brought down Darren Lockhart but Northern Ireland striker Smith blazed the spot-kick high over the crossbar.
Prior to Halliday's last gasp winner, Anthony Crawford had a hint of a chance for the home side but Gary Smyth produced a superb tackle.
Ballymena United 1-3 InstituteA battling Institute outfit claimed a deserved 3-1 win at Ballymena.
Former Omagh Town man John McElroy put Institute 1-0 up with a second minute goal.
Gareth McLaughlin headed Ballymena's equaliser two minutes later but Stephen Parkhouse 41st minute penalty restored Institute's lead.
Substitute Stuart Bratton made the game safe for Institute with a 75th minute goal.
Glenavon 2-2 PortadownAidan McVeigh's 90th minute goal earned Glenavon a somewhat fortunate 2-2 draw in the Mid-Ulster derby at Mourneview Park.
Portadown missed chance after chance in the second half whereas Glenavon scored with their two goal opportunities.
Dean Fitzgerald put Portadown ahead with a 16th minute goal after Vinny Arkins had cleverly nodded the ball into the Dubliner's path.
Sloppy Portadown defending allowed Dean Smith to equalise for the home side in the 37th minute.
Dean Fitzgerald restored Portadown's lead with a 79th minute minute header but the visitors were punished for missing several other chances to make the game safe when McVeigh levelled in the closing moments.
Glenavon's Pete Batey had to leave the field during the game through injury.
Crusaders 0-0 Coleraine Coleraine seemed to have next Thursday's Uefa Cup qualifying round second leg against Leiria on their minds in this lacklustre scoreless draw at Seaview.
Crusaders forwards Brian Russell and Colin Magill caused Coleraine centre-backs Paul Gaston and Gareth McAuley lots of problems.
Both went close in the first half while Steven Livingstone also rattled the Coleraine woodwork in the opening period.
Coleraine's best first half opportunity fell to Michael McHugh in the 19th minute after good work by Stephen Beatty.
Tony Gorman tried to rally his colleagues with a couple of long-range efforts in the second half but at the other end of the field, Paul Dixon missed a good chance for Crusaders in the 58th minute.
Right at the end, Barry Curran was presented with a great chance for Coleraine but the former Omagh man shot wide of the post.

The former Glentoran striker put Ards ahead with a 16th minute penalty after Lee Feeney had been fouled.
Fitzgerald added another goal in the 26th minute after he controlled a long clearance from his own goalkeeper Stephen Robertson.
Ronan Scannell increased Ards' lead with a 35th minute goal after a mistake by Justin McNerlin.
The Limavady defender atoned somewhat for his mistake by pulling a goal back for the home side in the 54th minute.
Limavady had late chances with Robertson saving superbly from Paul Brown and Davy Patton also going close on two occasions.

McCloskey chipped a delightful 20-yard lob over Philip Matthews to put Larne 1-0 up in the sixth minute.
Things then went from bad to worse for Distillery with Andrew Dixon sent off after a bad challenge in the ninth minute.
Derek Delaney scored his third goal in two games to put Larne 2-0 up in the 16th minute.
The second half was a dull affair and Larne comfortably maintained their 2-0 lead to the finish.
Newry Town 1-4 LinfieldMark Picking's hat-trick helped Linfield claim a facile 4-1 victory over Newry in Saturday's encounter at the Showgrounds.
Aidan O'Kane hit a superb 20th minute free-kick past Stuart Addis to put Linfield 1-0 up.
Picking added a second goal for Linfield on the half-hour after Addis had failed to hold a fierce Paul Dalglish shot.
The former Coleraine player struck Linfield's third goal with a delightful lob in the 34th minute.
Robert Casey pulled a goal back for Newry from the penalty spot two minutes before the break.
Any prospect of further Newry progress was ended when Robbie Brunton was sent off in the 64th minute for dissent.
Picking completed his hat-trick for Linfield in the 67th minute.
