Marty Quinn's Coleraine have their sights set on a top three finish |
Marty Quinn has welcomed the switching of Coleraine's final league fixture to Monday 28 April.
The final Premier League fixtures of the season were scheduled for Tuesday - just four days before the Nationwide Irish Cup final in which Coleraine play champions Glentoran.
Institute agreed to a request from Coleraine to play on the Monday, kick-off 1945 BST.
"I felt it was important that we prepared for the cup final with our normal training sessions on Tuesday and Friday," said Quinn.
The Coleraine boss plans to use the Institute game, and Saturday's against Linfield, to gauge the fitness of some players.
Defender Paul Gaston injured a shoulder in a training session collision with Rory Hamill.
The Coleraine physio Danny Kerr is confident Gaston will be fit for the final but manager Quinn wants to see him in competitive action before finalising his line-up for the 3 May final at Windsor Park.
Tony Gorman and Michael McHugh also have to confirm they have recovered from injuries.
A draw against Linfield at Ballycastle Road on Saturday would guarantee Coleraine finish in third place in the Premier League.
