Linfield 7-0 Institute
Linfield maintained their strong finish to the season with a comprehensive win over Institute at Windsor Park.
Blues boss David Jeffrey was desperate for revenge after Institute beat Linfield 2-0 in January.
It was the third time the North-West outfit had beaten Linfield in the league this season but it remains the Blues' only championship defeat since Christmas.
The result was Linfield's biggest win of the season, beating their 6-0 success at Newry Town on 28 December.
Chris Morgan was the outstanding player for Linfield on Tuesday night at Windsor, socring a hat-trick.
He opened the scoring on 12 minutes, clipping over the keeper while on the ground in a goalmouth scramble.
Peter Thompson made it two for the Blues on 18 minutes before Morgan struck again on the half hour.
Stuart King's 36th minute goal stretched Linfield's lead to four.
Three minutes into the second half Linfield got a penalty when Morgan was fouled by Thomas Wray.
Morgan took the chance to clinch his hat-trick with the spot-kick.
Wray conceded another penalty on 61 minutes, bundling into Ryan McCann.
This time Pat McShane took the penalty, beating John Connolly to make it 6-0.
The final goal was scored on 74 minutes when Mark Picking met a Thompson cross at the back post.
