Linfield 1-0 Omagh Town
Glenn Ferguson's 70th minute winner has kept Linfield in with a chance of snatching a top three finish in the Daily Mirror Irish League Premier Division.
The win over Omagh means the Blues have cut the gap between them and third-placed Coleraine to five points with four games left.
So it looks like being quite a battle when the sides meet on Saturday 26 April.
Coleraine are already assured of a place in Europe because they play champions Glentoran in the Irish Cup final.
But a top three finish would be some consolation to Linfield and manager David Jeffrey who have had a good second half to the league season.
Linfield's title hopes vanished in a disappointing start to the campaign but they have been beaten just once in the championship since Christmas.
Saturday's game against Omagh had few clear cut chances but Ferguson finally found the net 20 minutes from time.
Omagh keeper Gavin Cullen failed to collect a Stephen Collier free-kick and Ferguson was on hand to lob the ball in.
It means Linfield are in line to pip Omagh to a place in the Inter-Toto Cup competition.
