Azerbaijan sell out
Simon Davies scored against Italy
Simon Davies scored in front of a full Millennium Stadium
Wales are due to play in front of another full house when they face Azerbaijan next March.

Tickets went on sale on Monday, and after just one day, the Euro 2004 qualifier on March 29th looks set to be completely sold out.

Public support has reached fever point recently, following terrific wins over Italy, Finland and most recently Azerbaijan in Baku.

Mark Hughes' men, who currently enjoy top spot in Group Nine, know that another win in the return leg against Azerbaijan will put the in pole position to qualify for their first major tournament since 1958.

Secretary General of the Football Association of Wales, David Collins said "It's absolutely unbelievable, were delighted. The general public have snapped up all of the tickets that were made available."

Indeed, the Welsh football team have become one of the best supported sides in Europe.

The last four international at the Millennium Stadium have all been sell outs.

And the thought of having 74,000 fans cheering Wales on is something that Collins believes can only help the team.

"It gives Mark and the team every incentive to get where we all hope we are going to get - that's Portugal in June 2004."
