FA happy with Liechtenstein security
England fans are charged by police in Slovakia
Crowd trouble disrupted England's game in Slovakia
The Football Association has no problems with England travelling to Liechtenstein for their Euro 2004 qualifier on 29 March.

There had been concern that security arrangements at FC Vaduz's Rhinepark Stadium would not match England's requirements.

The match will present security staff with a new challenge as it is a 3,548 sell-out - just 2,000 fans normally show-up for Liechtenstein internationals.

But the FA's joint acting chief executive David Davies says he is satisfied that the game will take place in a safe environment.

"We have had a discussion with Uefa about it and we had concerns," he said.

"But the situation is that Spain and Portugal have played in Liechtenstein in recent times without incident.

"The advice we're getting is that there's no reason this game shouldn't go ahead.

"The Liechtenstein police, with advice from here, are confident and it's a balancing act."

Crowd trouble during England's win in Slovakia last October means the FA now has to be extra cautious about security when England travel away from home.

The FA is keen to ensure England's players are protected after many were targeted for verbal abuse in Slovakia.

Uefa also fined the FA about 9,000 after away supporters in Slovakia were involved in disturbances during the game.

England have been given just 600 tickets for the Liechtenstein tie and those without tickets are urged not to travel.
