Referee Jonas Eriksson awards England a first-half penalty
Slovenia captain Robert Koren believes Wayne Rooney went "down a bit too easy" to earn a penalty during England's 2-1 friendly win at Wembley.
Rooney was involved in an innocuous-looking tangle with defender Bostjan Cesar but was awarded the penalty.
"I think Rooney went down a bit too easy, let's see if someone will say something against him," said Koren.
The award follows a spate of disputed decisions, including one involving Rooney in a recent Premier League game.
Television replays from a certain angle showed the Manchester United striker may have already been heading for the turf before Arsenal goalkeeper Manuel Almunia made contact with him in the penalty box in United's 2-1 win over the Gunners.
Diving has been the subject of much debate since Eduardo was awarded a penalty during Arsenal's Champions League victory over Celtic, with the Brazil-born Croatian subsequently receiving a two-match ban from Uefa.
Celtic winger Aiden McGeady was also sent off after he was shown a second yellow card for an alleged dive in Celtic's 1-0 win over Hibernian which occurred just days after the Eduardo furore.
Slovenian goalkeeper Samir Handanovic said he thought Rooney should have been shown a yellow card for his part in the incident at Wembley.
"It was no penalty. Both players were fighting for the ball. In the end Rooney literally fell into Cesar and I think it was a clear foul against our player," said Handanovic.
"Maybe Rooney should have been yellow-carded."
Rooney declined to comment when the criticism of the Slovenian players was put to him after the game.
But earlier in the week the Manchester United forward, referring to the penalty awarded against Arsenal, insisted that he was an "honest player", and added on the Eduardo suspension.
