"After the first half when the Czech Republic made five changes they seemed to get a little bit more hunger and they picked up the pace.
"But Scotland impressed me with the way they passed the ball and played with patience.
"I think that 3-1 is fair result.
"It was a friendly, though, and when it comes to the big games when there are points up for grabs, the Scotland side will keep it much tighter."

"Under Walter Smith and under Alex McLeish we got used to grinding out results and not taking too many chances.
"Under George Burley we are maybe going to see the team attacking more.
"George knows the team are able to sit back and defend so they can always go back to that, and that means the team can now look to attack more.
"There have definitely been things learned today."

"We were doing well until Sionko scored. There were some cracking goals. It's difficult to say that we did well when we lost 3-1 but we were doing well for long periods in the game.
"The Czech Republic are in the European Championships and we are not. They will be some people's favourites to at least get to the semi-finals and there were times in the second half that you could see why.
"We can only takes positives from it. We have to look for something we can hang on to when we're going in to these World Cup qualifiers.
"James Morrison got forward and got in to the box a couple of times and if we can do that more often on his side that helps.
"David Clarkson's goal was a great touch, turn and finish. He looked all right and that is something that I think is encouraging.
