First-half goals from Tom Huddlestone and Mark Noble helped England to a 2-0 win over Bulgaria in their Uefa U21 Championship qualifier in Sofia. Huddlestone opened the scoring on 25 minutes, sending a volley skidding in after James Milner's cross.
Noble doubled the lead after shimmying past keeper Nikolay Mihaylov, but he later picked up a booking which rules him out of the next qualifier.
England now have two wins from their first two qualifiers.
