Beckham must be dropped - Waddle
England captain David Beckham
Waddle also expressed concern about Beckham's disciplinary record
Chris Waddle has claimed David Beckham does not deserve a place in the England team on current form.

The former England winger wants to see Steven Gerrard replace Beckham on the right, where the Liverpool captain has been playing for his club.

"Beckham has not been playing fantastic football," Waddle told BBC Five Live.

"He's England captain and I'm sure he will play, but Gerrard's form has been brilliant since Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez moved him to the right."

Waddle is also concerned about Beckham's discplinary record.

The 30-year-old was sent off for England against Austria in October and has seen red for Real twice this season, although one was later rescinded.
