Northern Ireland U19s played out a scoreless draw with Italy in a European Championship qualifier in Midleton on Tuesday afternoon. N Ireland were on top form against their illustrious opponents but were unable to convert their chances.
The stalemate follows a 2-1 defeat by the Republic of Ireland on Sunday.
Mal Donaghy's team can qualify for the mext stage if they beat Moldova by more than two goals in Cobh on Thursday and the Repuiblic defeat Italy.
