Maribor have not given up on their claim that Rangers defender Carlos Bocanegra was ineligible for their Europa League qualifier and are likely to raise the matter with Uefa again should they lose the tie. (Daily Express)

Rangers could still face a Uefa investigation into Carlos Bocanegra's Europa League eligibility as Maribor's protest was only thrown out because they did not file it within 24 hours of the match being completed. (the Scotsman)

Celtic captain Scott Brown will finally pledge his future to the club by signing a new four-year contract after their Europa League second leg against Sion. (Daily Record)

Should Hearts, 5-0 behind from the first leg, lose by four goals or more to Tottenham in their Europa League qualifier, they will become Scotland's biggest-ever aggregate losers, surpassing Rangers' 12-4 defeat by Eintracht Frankfurt in the 1960 European Cup semi-final. (Daily Record)
