1902: The agent of Antonio Candreva has denied the Italian midfielder is close to a move to West Ham. Andrea Moretti said: "It's true that (West Ham boss Gianfranco) Zola knows Antonio well having coached him in the Italy under-21 squad, but to infer from this that we are in negotiations, is a long way away." 1858: Bordeaux president Jean-Louis Triaud says West Ham were the only Premier League club in the running for the signature of Marouane Chamakh. Arsenal and Sunderland had also been linked with the Morocco striker. (So Foot)

1840: Brazil international Adriano says he would only play for Inter Milan if he ever returned to Serie A. The striker has scored 15 goals in 22 games for Flamengo and has been linked with a return to the San Siro. (Press Association)

1828: Tottenham Hotspur defender Gareth Bale's agent believes the Wales international would be interested in a move to Italy, but has denied a deal is on the table from AC Milan as part of a swap deal involving Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

1548: Saudi Prince Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdullah says that talks over his F6 company buying a major stake in Liverpool are nearing conclusion.

1545: Spanish side Sevilla are interested in signing Arsenal midfielder Fran Merida who impressed for Spain at the Under-20 World Cup.
