2248 BST: Brazilian forward Kleber claims Liverpool are attempting to sign him from Cruzeiro for around £6m.

The player, however, would like to stay in his homeland: "Cruzeiro have been made an offer but I've always said I wanted to play in Brazil and make history here because I know it is possible." (SporTV)

2149 BST: West Ham captain Lucas Neill has rejected the terms of a new contract offer but has not ruled out staying with the club.
