Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez could place �20m striker Robbie Keane on the transfer list in January. Benitez will rest Keane against Blackburn with the former Spurs star struggling to find the net. (Various)

Mark Hughes has dismissed earlier rumours linking Manchester City with nine-figure fees for top European players as "outlandish". (Times)

However, Hughes could offload misfiring striker Jo to the Brazilian's old club, CSKA Moscow. (Mirror)

Joe Kinnear expects to have �12m to bring two or three players to Newcastle in January. (Independent)

Roman Pavlyuchenko wants his Russia team-mate Andrei Arshavin to join him at Tottenham. (Sun)
