Jose Mourinho has had a change of heart and will tell the Football Association he is not interested in the England job after receiving an offer to coach a major club next season (News of the World).

If Mourinho does rule himself out, FA chief executive Brian Barwick will turn to Martin O'Neill or Jurgen Klinsmann (Mail on Sunday).

But if Mourinho does take the job, he will appoint a prominent ex-England international as his assistant (Observer).
