Every player position on the football pitch requires different tactics and skills.
Four of England's top female players pass on their advice.
First up is between the sticks and some would argue the most important position.
GAME PREPARATION
Always think positively. Think about what you did well in your last game, and not your mistakes. If you do let a bad goal in, so what! A goalkeeper has to be very confident when stepping on to the pitch - and must be focused.
Worrying about your last mistake will simply mean you making another one.
PRE-MATCH WARM-UP
I have a set routine that covers all the techniques, such as taking crosses, diving, footwork drills, ball handling, goal kicks and back passes.
It means I'm ready for anything!
STAYING FOCUSED
If you had a microphone attached to me you'd hear me muttering throughout the game. It's all part of focusing.

It is hard sometimes when you don't touch the ball for 20 minutes. You need to learn this. You just have to be ready. Wherever the ball moves I move in line with the ball.
If defenders drop back then so do I. Keeping in movement with the game keeps me clued into the game.
DIVING
Although it does look better diving should be your last resort.
If you move your feet quick enough you should be able to get in line with the ball and catch it.
The technique though is to push off from the foot that's closest to the ball. If diving to the left, use your left leg to dive off.
COPING WITH CROSSES
Confidence in catching the ball comes with practice, but you do need to be brave.
It is daunting seeing 23 massive players around you, but if you feel you can make the ball then go for it.
There's nothing better at the start of a game than getting hold of the ball and knocking a couple of attackers out of the way!
When you go for crosses, be loud. You have to let everybody know you're coming for it. A loud keeper gives defenders confidence.
SHOT SAVING
Whatever you do, keep your eye on the ball. It is true that the newer balls swerve more. So get in line with it as quick as you can.
I love one-on-ones. It sounds mad but when the striker is charging down on goal it gives you a real buzz.
You need to make yourself big and make that goal look as small as possible. You can be confident - they'll be more afraid of you.
Many players will try to dribble around you so stand up as long as you can. Too many keepers go to ground too early.
