ALAN SUDDICK: 49%
The juggler who could bend the ball when it was still made of leather, and held the world "keepy-uppy" record.
Barry Green
Never mind Beckham, this man could bend a ball round a wall from any distance. As soon as Blackpool gained a free-kick near the box the cry use to go up, "It's going to be a Suddick bender". He had great skill and was the king of Bloomfield Road for most of the Seventies.
Ron Carroll
He could bend a ball much better than Beckham and had strength as well as skill.
Russell Lambert.
The greatest player never to play for England. Signed from Newcastle to replace Alan Ball he ran the midfield for 7 seasons before moving on. Noted for his bending free-kicks, when only the Brazilians were deemed capable of producing such gems. They were even featured in an article in the Daily Telegraph after one particularly memorable one scored on Match Of The Day. Recognised by the terraces as the driving force of the team and christened by the fans in the regular chant (to the tune of the carol "The First Noel") 'Suddick, Suddick, Suddick, Suddick, Born Is The King Of Bloomfield Road'. Greatest moment was his masterminding of the 2-1 victory over Bologna in the Anglo-Italian Cup final - shown live on Grandstand if I recall.

MICKEY WALSH: 30%
Played for Blackpool in the Seventies. Best remembered for scoring a brilliant 25-yard screamer in a top-of-the-table clash with Sunderland. It was shown on MOTD time and time again.
Russell Lambert
Won "goal of the season" back in 1975 for a stunning strike against Sunderland. And he had a 'tache, which is obligatory for any serious cult hero!
Peter K
STAN MORTENSEN: 21%
FA Cup hat-trick, frequent leading goal scorer, all-round nice guy.
Barry Green
Scored a hat-trick in the 1953 FA Cup final as Blackpool beat Bolton 4-3 - the famous Stanley Matthews Final.
