Grays' FA Cup first-round replay against Carlisle was abandoned after only 20 minutes because of floodlight failure at the Recreation Ground.
The non-league side were celebrating Sam Sloma's 20th-minute goal when one of the floodlights failed.
An electrician spent 20 minutes trying to fix the problem before the referee called a halt to proceedings.
A new date is yet to be fixed for the game, the winner of which will host Crewe in the second round.
