Ukrainian referee Oleh Orekhov has lost his appeal against a life ban from football for his involvement in a match-fixing scandal.
The appeals panel of Uefa, European football's governing body, rejected his attempt to overturn the ban on Tuesday.
Orekhov, 42, was banned in March after Uefa received information from a German police investigation into more than 200 matches played across Europe.
Uefa said he had breached "principles of loyalty and integrity".
However, it has not specified either the leagues or particular matches in which he helped to influence results.
