The New Saints again let slip an early lead against Fram Reykjavik to lose 2-1 as they crashed out of the Europa League first qualifying round.
As in Iceland last week, Steve Evans put the Welsh side ahead.
Playing up front, Evans put in a far-post header from a Tommy Holmes cross that was flicked-on by Chris Marriott.
Poor defending allowed Almar Ormarsson to score from a long through ball, Sam Tillen sealing the tie with a penalty after Hjalmar Thorarinsson was fouled.
Visiting keeper Hannes Halldorsson had an outstanding game, thwarting the Saints' hopes of a comeback.
Reykjavik advance to face Sigma of the Czech Republic in the next round.
The match was the first European tie to be played in Oswestry, the Saints' Park Hall ground having 1,000 extra seats installed to satisfy Uefa requirements.
It was the Welsh Premier side's 11th attempt at European competition, but they have yet to advance past the first round.
