Valencia president Juan Soler has reiterated his support for former Chelsea boss Claudio Ranieri. The La Liga side are struggling for form, and a dull goalless draw with Real Zaragoza on Saturday made it 10 games without a win.
Soler spoke out last week to blame the players for the bad results, and repeated his support for the coach despite another poor result.
"I have never questioned Ranieri," he told Valencia's shareholders.
Valencia had led the league earlier this season, looking to defend the league won under current Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez.
But they have since slipped to eighth after taking just two points from their last five league outings.
They were also knocked out of the Copa del Rey by Second Division side Lleida, and are almost certain to be eliminated from the Champions League in the group stage.
